If you're not a student, your donations are the best way to get involved with the film. A link to donate online will be added soon. But for now, if you would like to donate, please reach out to us using the form below and let us know that you would like to make a donation and we will work out the best way to make that happen. Students can donate, too; believe us when we say that even $1 can go a long way!
We are looking for anyone interested in making or watching films. In other words, anybody and everybody. Though past film experience is helpful, none is necessary, but we do expect that those who become members are willing to dedicate themselves to their duties for most, if not the entire school year. We especially rely on every single person when production is underway in winter.
On our end, we will do our best to make sure you fully understand the details and expectations of your position and work with your schedule to make your participation with us possible and effortless.
A detailed list of positions will be posted here soon.
Crew petitions are now closed. When we start petitioning for crew members, we will post a sign up link here.
We strongly suggest working on Applause for at least one year before petitioning for an Exec position in order to familiarize yourself to the year long process. An Exec position is not for the weak of heart and requires members to be diligent, patient, and smart especially under pressure.
But ultimately, this is a team project. You will have others to lean on, and together as executive members, you will be leading the making of a feature length film. It's no easy task, and that is what makes the end result an extremely rewarding experience.
A detailed list of positions for 2016-2017.
Petitions will take place on May 16 and 17 from 7-9PM at Norris in front of the Starbucks.
The cast varies from year to year. Cast members must be available for winter quarter and be flexible during the fall for rehearsals and during the spring for any pick up shots.
We are not currently auditioning for a cast. We will post a link to sign up for an audition slot in the fall.
Scripts must be between 60-90 pages. On any given year, the directors may or may not require submissions to be centered around a certain theme, topic or genre. If there are any special instructions for script submissions, they will be listed here.
We are not currently taking script submissions. Come back in the summer and there will be a link to submit your script here.
